I am using Drop on SteamOS. I installed the Win Version of any GOG Game and installed it (with the gog installer) via Drop with no issues.
After that I can launch the game.
If I close the game and start the game again, Drop wants me to choose the exe every time I open the game.
I tried to install the game in the same folder as where the Setup Executable is located. Didn't change anything.
@DecDuck commented on GitHub (Mar 1, 2026):
What do you mean by "Drop wants me to choose the exe every time I open the game."? Does it display all the launch options configured and you have to pick from those?
If not, can you provide a screenshot?
@ArrelHD commented on GitHub (Mar 2, 2026):
I will try to give as you as much information as I can.

The Setup works as intended
After the setup finishes, the Game starts and works.
@DecDuck commented on GitHub (Mar 2, 2026):
Do you have your launch executable set correctly? I believe Proton pops that up if it can't find the referenced exe, it's nothing Drop is doing.
@ArrelHD commented on GitHub (Mar 2, 2026):
In the Admin Panel? Where can I set it?
Is it wrong that I selected "Setup Mode" for GoG Games?
@DecDuck commented on GitHub (Mar 2, 2026):
Looks like a bug, the game shouldn't change to the "Play" button if configured in setup-only mode.
But yeah, if you set the launch command (with setup-mode not set), it'll work
@ArrelHD commented on GitHub (Mar 2, 2026):
Is there a guide on how to set it up properly with the gog installer? I can't find anything
