kmemleak_scan() will scan struct page for each node and it can be really large and resulting in a soft lockup. We have seen a soft lockup when do scan while compile kernel: watchdog: BUG: soft lockup - CPU#53 stuck for 22s! Linux kernel ============ This file was moved to Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst Please notice that there are several guides for kernel developers and users. These guides can be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or ``make pdfdocs``.
