BillyOutlastandClaude Opus 5.5 ab3c4055cd strip-updater-feed: one descriptor for the read-modify-write 
CodeQL flagged a check-then-write race (js/file-system-race) on the build
config: existsSync, then read and write by path. Open the file once and
read, truncate and write through that descriptor. Same edit, same exit
codes (2 missing, 1 refused).
