Part of moving the toolset beyond Elementor. Every MCP ability moves from the 'elementor-mcp/' namespace to 'emcp-tools/' (so tool names become emcp-tools-<tool>), and the server id/route changes elementor-mcp-server -> emcp-tools-server (/wp-json/mcp/emcp-tools-server, WP-CLI --server=emcp-tools-server). BREAKING: every existing AI-client connection must be reconnected with the new route. Stored per-tool disabled toggles are remapped automatically by a one-time migration (EMCP_Tools_Migration::migrate_ability_slug_namespace) so Pro tools stay disabled-by-default across the upgrade. Preserved deliberately: GitHub repo URL (msrbuilds/elementor-mcp), legacy elementor_mcp_* option keys + the legacy plugin path used for pre-2.0 migration detection, admin CSS class names, and historical CHANGELOG release-artifact names. Verified end-to-end: full suite green (468 tests); live WP-CLI tools/list on the new emcp-tools-server route exposes 84 tools, all named emcp-tools-*, zero elementor-mcp-* remaining.
