1b8f8755bf Deleted the code that sets BYTE_ORDER to LITTLE_ENDIAN on Linux, whic 
on big-endian machines.  Use __osf__ instead of __alpha to identify
Digital Unix, which has <machine/endian.h>.

3917989287 Changed 'MACLINUX' back to 'MKLINUX' so the MkLinux builds will work. 
Added support for M68k Linux.  Thanks to Jes Sorensen (Jes.Sorensen@cern.ch) for the patch.
