89939d58dc Bug 1254865 - Send disableglobalhistory state down to TabChild after construction asynchronously. r=smaug 
disableglobalhistory is an attribute that we support on <xul:browser> that
can be used to signal to the underlying DocShell whether or not it should
record visits in global history.

This patch adds support for this attribute by detecting it at the time
that the TabParent is bound to the browser, and then sending the presence
of the attribute to the TabChild, which then sets the state in its DocShell.

3482a3267c Bug 1229220 - Update the scrollbar visibility prefs when initializing a TabChild; r=smaug 
This will make sure that window.scrollbars correctly reflects the respective
chrome flags in e10s mode.

We also update nsXULWindow::SetContentScrollbarVisibility() to the new
nsContentUtils helper.  That code is responsible for doing this work in the
single process case.

547732227b Bug 1236108: Modify sandbox initialization code to use directory service to obtain content process temp directory; r=bobowen,haik 
The previous patch in this series creates a new directory service entry
specifically for obtaining the content process temp directory.

This patch converts everything else to reference that entry. It also sets
appropriate environment variables in the content processes so that system
APIs automatically pick up the directory. This is necessary for the crash
reporter to be able to call those APIs in exception handling contexts.

094a7b0970 Bug 1161169: Clean up usage of mContentParent and clearly identify it as specifically for async plugin init; r=billm,jimm 
mContentParent is really just to be used while handling a synchronous
ContentParent::RecvLoadPlugin call when async plugin init turned on.

In any other context, using it will be unsafe.

This patch adds comments and assertions to ensure that this value isn't set
otherwise, and converts the one use of mContentParent outside of async plugin
init to use an alternative mechanism for identifying the content process.

Several code paths try to ask the principal if it's in a browser element, but
the principal now only knows about *isolated* browser elements.  All such code
paths are currently unused on desktop.  The frame loader now asserts that
isolation remains enabled for cases where apps are used.

This change renames TabContext::IsBrowserElement to IsIsolatedMozBrowserElement.
Other methods that pass these values around also have name changes.

Adds TabContext::IsMozBrowserElement which is set by the frame loader for all
browser frames.  This is in contrast to its previous implementation, which has
since been renamed IsIsolatedMozBrowserElement, since it checks isolated state
in OriginAttributes.

TabContext methods related to browser elements (and their callers) are updated
to use IsIsolatedMozBrowserElement when check isolation / origins and
IsMozBrowserElement when checking frame types.

3cdbeb2bd6 Bug 1237847 - [e10s] Null deref crash when running test_pluginstream_newstream.html; r=bobowen 
Modify the Mac sandbox to allow temporary files to be created in a
parent-specified subdirectory of NS_OS_TEMP_DIR. This is similar to the
Windows approach. The parent provides a UUID in a preference which is
used by the content process to form the subdirectory name.

9811d5b26c Bug 1193838 - Expose ProfileGatherer as an nsISupports through nsIProfiler for process parent actors. r=BenWa 
We need to let ContentParent and PluginModuleParent get a reference to the ProfileGatherer
during the window of time that we're profiling so that if they start to die (the actor is
starting to go away), they have a gatherer they can send their last profile data to.

In order to meet the addon signing requirement for tests, specialpowers
needs to be installed at gecko runtime. This means it must be restartless.
This patch packages specialpowers as a restartless addon, but it does not
yet install it at runtime.

f7282ab158 Bug 1217515 - Clean up the way touch event support is configured. r=roc 
- all.js now sets dom.w3c_touch_events.enabled to auto-detect on all
  platforms except windows and mac
- auto-detect always returns true for android and b2g
- graphene and tests override the all.js pref with their own value
