7696519cff Bug 1555060 Convert <tabs> to a custom element 
The conversion for "regular" <tabs> elements is straightforward, most of
the work here is to support the tab strip (the <tabs> element with the id
"tabbrowser-tabs").  The markup needed for the tab strip moves directly
into browser.xhtml and the construction/teardown logic is now explicitly
driven from gBrowser.  There are many more little tweaks too numerous to
enumerate.

f1d137eff5 Bug 1555060 Stop using dom structure for <tabs>/<tab> relationships 
A bunch of existing code assumes that <tab> elements are the immediate
and only children of a <tabs> element, and uses dom apis to traverse
relationships between these elements.  To simplify conversion of <tabs>
to a custom element (and hopefully improve readability a bit at the same
time!), introduce new apis:

On <tab>
this.parentNode -> this.container
this.nextElementSibling -> this.container.findNextTab(...)
this.previousElementSibiling -> this.container.findNextTab(...)

On <tabs>
this.children -> this.allTabs

This adds an API for fetching security info per frame, no matter if we have
a certificate error or a valid certificate.

I tried to make this work in a Fission-compatible way, let me know if this

926df091cf Bug 1555627 - Set a learn more link on net error pages. r=prathiksha 
Bug 1284835 removed the hard-coded learn more link on cert and net error pages, which worked
for cert error pages because they explicitly set their own learn more links, but net error
pages were relying on the default href to be set. This wasn't revealed until bug 1530348
made about:neterror part of the new error pages.

The solution is simply to explicitly set the correct learn more link to net error pages.

Note that in the case of PR_END_OF_FILE errors, we were not previously showing a "learn more"
link. That was not intentional, as far as I can tell, but was caused by the bug fixed in bug 1477875.

80496e3984 Bug 1479960 - Fix the main thread I/O tests to handle the IPC shared memory changes. r=florian 
The tests for unexpected main thread I/O had exemptions for the specific
paths that were being used for shared memory, which would cause it to
fail with the changes in this bug.  This patch does two things:

1. On Linux, /dev/shm is always tmpfs (a memory filesystem), so it's not
going to cause disk I/O, and it's used by glibc to implement the POSIX
standard shm_open API.  This allows all /dev/shm paths instead of
limiting it to a hard-coded prefix.

2. On MacOS, with the patches in this bug, we'll no longer use temporary
files for shared memory on current OS versions, but we still need them on
older versions to avoid an OS bug (https://crbug.com/project-zero/1671),
and they are backed by disk in this case, so we want to allow only the
IPC files.  However, the path prefix has changed.

d62d8572d3 Bug 1556000 - Part 2: Whitelist sync IPCs 'PCompositorBridge::Msg_MapAndNotifyChildCreated' and 'PCompositorBridge::Msg_NotifyChildCreated' for the test 'browser_startup_syncIPC.js'. r=florian 
We need to whistlist 'PCompositorBridge::Msg_MapAndNotifyChildCreated'
and 'PCompositorBridge::Msg_NotifyChildCreated' sync IPCs in the stage
'before becoming idle' for Windows platform since removing the content
window telemetry probe causing these sync IPCs been sent earlier than
before. And the IPC recorder sometimes doesn't fully cover the stage
in Windows platform. So, we will get these sync IPCs in the stage and
we need to whitelist them.

01a67ca408 Bug 1557790 - fix initialization of blocklist clients, r=aswan 
In order for the remote settings blocklist to sync, we need to ensure that
the corresponding remote settings clients are created (see also
https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1557790#c2 ). This is
necessary because the blocklist clients are not in the `main` bucket.

This would otherwise happen as soon as any consumer asked the blocklist
for any block data, but that's not going to happen unless the list of
add-ons or plugins changes. Even if there are no changes to the local
lists of installed things, we do need blocklist updates because
otherwise already-installed items would never get blocked even if/when
they are added to the blocklist.

The client initialization should have no other side effects (in terms of
performance/cost) beyond ensuring they get included in things we ask for
when the update-timer fires.

ae04cb8bb0 Bug 1488871 - Add an exception for the placeholder in the urlbar flickers to browser_windowopen.js. r=mconley 
recordFrames has been wallpapering these flickers because the function ends up
calling FlushPendingNotifications in AsyncScrollPortEvent::Run() and we hadn't
noticed the wallpaper until we tried to remove the FlushPendingNotifications in
AsyncScrollPortEvent::Run().

bbca3abb12 Bug 1554156 - Update browser_startup_syncIPC.js for WebRender on Windows. r=florian 
PLayerTransaction doesn't get used with WebRender. Instead there are
some equivalent messages over PWebRenderBridge. Currently this test is
only enabled with WebRender on Windows, but as Linux and Mac are added
additonal entries might be needed.

This includes the previously excluded initial expected reflow on macOS 10.14. That reflow is already expected on other platforms, and it seems to be necessary on 10.14, too. version is already supported.

If an author specifies in a declaration block this property in its standard form

e71d3a6b9f Bug 1550034 - avoid most failures of the browser_startup_mainthreadio.js and browser_startup_content_mainthreadio.js tests, r=mconley. 
This patch contains the following changes:
- upload a startup profile when there are unused mainthread I/O whitelist entries,
- avoid 'unused whitelist entry' failures in devedition beta builds (where the IOInterposer is ifdef'ed out) while keeping coverage that ensures we are able to produce valid startup profiles,
- completely disable on Windows Arm64 where the IO interposer is broken,
- mark as ignoreIfUnused the whitelist entry that caused most intermittent failures.

We were using the same ID on two elements, which kind of messed up things everywhere
our code reasonably expected only one element of the kind to exist. We just use a
class name now.

e34df76e27 Bug 1547489 - Make sure to target something inside the cross-origin iframe in browser_bug734076.js. r=mconley 
This test is already somewhat racy. At least locally, I could see the
background-image test fail sometimes in chaos mode. This is because we don't
wait for the background-image to load. But that's a different bug in any case.

Anyway, this failure happens because we're sending an event to the <iframe>,
but the context menu code expects the target of the event to be a node inside
the cross-origin iframe, in order for this check to work:

Since <iframe> is cross-origin, stuff in it may not have been laid out yet.
This will also be a problem with fission, afaict, where that check wouldn't
even be possible, I think. If stuff there hasn't been laid out, the thing
getting the event (the contextmenu's target) is the <iframe>, rather than the
content document's target.

Make sure to target content under the subframe for now. This change is a bit
subtle, in the sense that what ensures stuff is getting laid out after this
change is the getBoundingClientRect() calls in:

However we rely on those all over the place already (even before my change), so

6eb2084136 Bug 1544811 - Use web processes on a per-site basis for fission-enabled windows, r=mconley 
This patch introduces a new type of content process, which has a dynamic name.
This type of content process is labeled as `webIsolated=${SITE_ORIGIN}` and is
used within fission-enabled windows.

To enable this, additional information about the fission status of the target
window must be passed into E10SUtils. This was done by updating every call site
manually to pass an extra boolean. A better solution perhaps should be used in
the future.

With this patch enabled, we now perform process switches, but only when
navigating to HTTP URIs. If we navigate to a non-HTTP URI in an iframe with
fission enabled, it will not behave correctly. This must be done in a
follow-up.

f3c17191a1 Bug 1544595 - Wait for report breakage button visibility in browser_trackingUI_report_breakage.js. r=ewright 
We made changes to change the visibility of this button whenever the panel is opened, so
more lazily. I think this caused some intermittents where the assertion was runinng before
the hide/show code executed.

3675f2449b Bug 1534395 - Rename nsITabParent to nsIRemoteTab. r=nika,mconley 
nsITabParent is exposed to frontend code and is generally used as a representation of a remote tab. We could just rename the interface to nsIBrowserParent and worry about it later, but I think it's better to rename the interface to nsIRemoteTab so that we can later work on splitting the interface away from the PBrowser protocol.

Note: Some frontend code refers to a TabParentId. This commit renames this to RemoteTabId. We need to figure out the purpose of TabId with fission.

I think this is one of the sane behaviors we can have, what Blink / WebKit do
makes no sense to me.

Alternative potentially-sane behavior is making the initial value of the
stylesheet's disabled bit the same as the content attribute, and both reflect
and forward the attribute from the setter.

That means that setAttribute does something different than setting `disabled`,
which means that you can get into all sorts of funny states when reloading the
sheet... So I rather not do that.
