09c2a8c1e1 Bug 1022818 - Part 3: Tests for CSSOM-View Smooth-Scroll DOM API Methods and MSD Animation. r=bz 
- Verify that instant scroll-behavior is synchronous.
- Verify that smooth scroll-behavior is asynchronous.
- Verify that smooth scroll-behavior is triggered by CSSOM-View DOM methods.
- Verify that instant scroll-behavior interrupts smooth scroll-behavior
  animation.
- Verify that smooth scroll-behavior is not framerate dependant.
- Verify that smooth scroll-behavior physics simulations used by animations
  converge and allow the animation to reach completion.
- CSSOM-View scroll-behavior smooth scroll animations must produce the same
  results indendently of frame-rate:
  - Reference samples of scroll position for each frame are captured from a
    smooth scroll at 120fps for variations in X-Distance, Y-Distance.
  - Test samples are captured from an animation with the same parameters at
    varying framerates.
  - Variance in position at each sampled interval is compared to the 120fps
    reference.  To pass the test, the position of each test sample must match
    the reference position with a tolerance of one test sample frame's range
    of motion.  This range of motion is calculated by the position delta of
    the reference samples one test frame duration before and after.
  - The duration of the reference sample animation and the test sample
    animation must match within 1 frame to pass the test.
  - The simulation driving the animation must converge and stop on the
    destination position for the test to pass.

3bd3d5624a Bug 1026023 - Part 4: Allow smooth scrolling to override momentum mouse wheel scroll events. r=mwoodrow 
- When a smooth scroll is being processed on a frame, mouse wheel and trackpad
  momentum scroll event updates will no longer cancel the SMOOTH or SMOOTH_MSD
  scroll animations, enabling scripts that depend on them to be responsive
  without forcing the user to wait for the fling animations to completely stop.

1453cb535f Bug 1026023 - Part 3: Integrate MSD movement with nsGfxScrollFrame. r=mattwoodrow 
- Added nsIScrollableFrame::ScrollMode::SMOOTH_MSD to differentiate
  existing smooth scrolls used by keyboard and mousewheel events from the
  CSSOM-View scroll-behavior's MSD motion scrolling.
- Implemented ScrollFrameHelper::AsyncSmoothMSDScroll, which takes the role
  of ScrollFrameHelper::AsyncScroll when SMOOTH_MSD scrolls are requested.
- Implemented glue code to handle callbacks from AsyncSmoothMSDScroll and
  to hand off velocity between the classes when one scroll animation is
  interrupted by another.

5a5a3f91dc Bug 1015474 part 1: Update behavior of "min-width:auto"/"min-height:auto" to match current spec text. r=mats 
This updates min-width:auto / min-height:auto to now take several more things
into account, beyond just a flex item's min-content size. Now we'll also
consider its used 'flex-basis', its main max-size property ('max-width' or
'max-height'), and its intrinsic ratio & any constraints in the other
dimension.

One nice bit of fallout from this bug is that handling plugin background
readback is simplified. We no longer have to fiddle with display item
visibility calculations; only layer occlusion culling has to know about
readback.

4ee42acd8c Bug 1022612. Part 27: Make FrameLayerBuilder responsible for setting all layer visible regions. r=mattwoodrow 
Calling Layer::SetVisibleRegion multiple times in a transaction can result in
unnecessary IPC traffic.

This patch removes Intersect(childGfxBounds). This is only needed to
restrict the visible region to something sane for 3D transforms, and this will
be fixed up in a later patch.

de75b34e18 Bug 1022612. Part 5: BuildDisplayListForExtraPage needs to pass the correct dirty rect in. r=mattwoodrow 
When printing, every page has the same origin. So doing this change naively
would result in the first page having all the display items for every page
added to it, and all but the first page's display items being pruned
away by PruneDisplayListForExtraPage. This would making printing long documents
very slow. We avoid that problem with the new check for
NS_FRAME_FORCE_DISPLAY_LIST_DESCEND_INTO, so the only pages other than the
current page we descend into are the ones with placeholders for abs-pos content
on the current page.

We need this to set the initial visible rect during display list construction.
Eventually we'll also be able to get rid of the dirty rect parameter to
nsIFrame::BuildDisplayList.

One nice bit of fallout from this bug is that handling plugin background
readback is simplified. We no longer have to fiddle with display item
visibility calculations; only layer occlusion culling has to know about
readback.

ad7435d1e8 Bug 1022612. Part 27: Make FrameLayerBuilder responsible for setting all layer visible regions. r=mattwoodrow 
Calling Layer::SetVisibleRegion multiple times in a transaction can result in
unnecessary IPC traffic.

This patch removes Intersect(childGfxBounds). This is only needed to
restrict the visible region to something sane for 3D transforms, and this will
be fixed up in a later patch.

948f5322d1 Bug 1022612. Part 5: BuildDisplayListForExtraPage needs to pass the correct dirty rect in. r=mattwoodrow 
When printing, every page has the same origin. So doing this change naively
would result in the first page having all the display items for every page
added to it, and all but the first page's display items being pruned
away by PruneDisplayListForExtraPage. This would making printing long documents
very slow. We avoid that problem with the new check for
NS_FRAME_FORCE_DISPLAY_LIST_DESCEND_INTO, so the only pages other than the
current page we descend into are the ones with placeholders for abs-pos content
on the current page.

bc57558dd7 Bug 1032450 - Flag the reflow state for a table frame as a "dummy" state if its parent state is. r=roc 
InitCBReflowState() copies the mCBReflowState from the parent
reflow state for table frames, which is null for "dummy" states,
so it would lead to a crash in InitConstraints() which assumes
non-dummy states has a non-null mCBReflowState.

Whole-layer invalidations are always expensive, but they're especially
expensive on mobile. Avoid them on mobile by always aligning to pixel
values, even if it means the scroll position will fall out of bounds.

b85550ce86 Bug 727125 - Lazily compute LineBaselineOffset when needed so it is present after a dynamic change of 'text-decoration'. r=dbaron 
This fixes the positioning of underlines set on a block or its ancestor
when drawn on children of a block that have a vertical-align !=
baseline.

The lazy computation is done all at once for all children of a block to
avoid O(N^2) searches for the line containing a frame.
