78da710221 Fixing one more part of the DOM performance bug 118933. f4e5a803f5 Fix for bug 124990 , Add additional processing loop for DOM event listeners to allow browser level handlers to be fired after content based listeners. r:saari, sr:jst 
Browser based listeners can now registers themselves using the AddGroupedEventListener and passing the system event group (which can be gotten via the nsIDOMEventReceiver interface). These listeners will now fire after all content based listeners have processed.
In this initial version of the checkin most browser listeners are still left in the original content group for stability purposes.

54e3bd6266 Second try at fixing bug 130778. Create a new content interface, nsIMenuElement, which is implemeneted on nsHTMLSelectElement, nsHTMLOptGroupElement, and the newly-created nsXULMenuElement. Create a nsXULMenuElement instance for XUL menubar and menupopup tags. Use this interface to set and get the active item from the XUL menuframe code and the :-moz-menuactive pseudoclass matching code. 299b47cf06 Fixes 127918. Mime Service was being accessed from a non-ui thread. This causes all kinds of problems. Found that content type is not needed while opening most stream io's. Add "dom.disable_open_click_delay" pref to control how soon a window.open() call has to happen after a mouse button event in order for it to succeed.  Calls to window.open() that happen after this time has passed are denied.  Units are time in milliseconds.

ab52751787 1) Removes the arg of nsIDOMWindow in the nsIWebBrowserPrint calls 
2) Adds a couple of new methods and an attr to nsIWebBrowserPrint (navigate, is frameset, & exitPP)
3) Removes all but one method from nsIContentViewerFile.idl/h the remaining call is for print regression testing
4) Removes the "static" implementation of nsIContentViewerFile.h
5) Fixed up nsIContentViewerFile.idl and turned it back on so it is now generating the header file
6) Removed all uses of nsIContentViewerFile.h except for the WebCrawler (uses it for Printing Regression testing)
7) nsDocumentViewer.cpp now implements nsIWebBrowserPrint.idl this makes it easier to add new print functionality in one place
8) You can now ask an instance of the ContentViewer for a nsIWebBrowserPrint to do printing (it retruns the nsIWebBrowserPrint interface implemented by the nsDocumentViewer)
9) Anybody who was using nsIContentViewerFile to print will now use nsIWebBrowserPrint
10) You can now do a "GetInterface()" on a GlobalWindow for a nsIWebBrowserPrint
11) The browser UI now uses the GetInterface on the GlobalWindow to get a nsIWebBrowserPrint object to do printing and this can be used for all printing functionality

50295b2702 Fixing part of bug 118933. Speeding up the global resolve hook in the DOM JS helpers by eliminating the use of nsHashtable and nsStringKey in favor of pldhash. Adding global HashString(const nsA[C]String&) functions that calculate a hash code from a nsA[C]String, code by dbaron@fas.harward.edu. 6cf1d33b09 Initial checkin of XBL select widget (listbox) code (bug 112713). 
Summary of changes:
- Removed old XBL form control cruft.
- Made nsOutlinerContentView accessible from content scripts.
- Created a new interface, nsIDOMNSXBLFormControl which exists to allow a
select element to have an outliner box object.
- Factored out nsChildIterator into its own file.
- Added support to the outliner content view for having option elements
directly inserted in the outliner.
- Cleaned up pixel/twip conversions in outliner.
- Added support for intrinsic width for outliner.

030da7b1b9 Fixing bug 86147. Adding code that does security checks on access to getter and setter functions for properties of DOM objects in JS. 5a6317b8a5 Bug 88413: Remove |GetUnicode()| from nsString (and replace it with |get()|). r=dbaron, rs=scc. 
This removes all call-sites I can currently fix. Tomorrow I'll try to get someone to checkin my changes to security/ and I'll get some help with the Netscape side of things.

nsString::GetUnicode()'s final death-blow will be dealt soon. Please keep this in mind as you add new code :-)

bf5fb48486 Replaced NO_SHARED_LIB & NO_STATIC_LIB with BUILD_SHARED_LIBS, BUILD_STATIC_LIBS, FORCE_STATIC_LIB & FORCE_SHARED_LIB. Added FORCE_USE_PIC. 
Changes allow us to have a finer control over which parts of the tree are built with PIC.  Part of the static build branch landing.

6f138c7969 Fixing crasher bug 73331. When cleaning up incorrect content in the HTML content sink we ended up creating frames for content that was about to be taken out of the document shortly after only to be inserted into the document again at a different place, this caused frame construction to happen for the new content that was about to be moved. So we created frames for no good reason and the frames we created got distroyed immediately after they've been created.
