748db52939 Bug 1325297. Create a variant of imgIContainer::StartDecoding that returns if the current image frame is complete. r=aosmond 
During painting we do some image decoding, but we want to send the image progress notifications from that decoding async. The CSS image renderer checks if the image is complete before painting it. So if the decoding we did during painting resulted in the images becoming complete there is no way to tell that during the same paint. Thus making that decoding a waste of time.

So we add a limited way of telling if the result of a StartDecoding call has resulting in an image that is ready to paint so we can get that result during the same paint.

I would have prefered to change StartDecoding to just return a bool but that would have made the bool an outparam, which would make every StartDecoding call uglier with extra code. Changing it to a notxpcom function would have fixed that, but I'm not sure if that is safe.

daf2b57f94 Bug 1316764 - Update animations on layers whenever the frame generation is not equal; r=hiro 
This fixes a problem where we fail to update animations on layers when an
EffectSet is destroyed. In this case when we call
RestyleManager::GetAnimationGenerationForFrame in
ElementRestyler::AddLayerChangesForAnimation(), it will return zero but the
animation generation on the layer will be set to some positive non-zero value.

If we compare the two generation numbers using < we will think the layer is
up-to-date. Using != fixes this. We only used < while we had independent
generation numbers of animations and transitions but that was fixed in bug
1229280.

3251aeb9dd Bug 1324713 - Fix integer overflow in CreateClipPathCircle(). r=dholbert 
Before this patch, we did a sum-of-squares operation with nscoord variables,
which could overflow (to a negative value), and that would then produce NaN
when sqrt()'ed. We'll now avoid this by using 'double' variables & NS_hypot.

Without this patch, clip-path-circle-021.html will be rendered as a
rectangle.

f7070d6e85 Bug 1321176 - Handle unresolved url value gracefully. r=heycam,manishearth 
This changes as_slice_components() to return the original url if the url
is not resolved. It returns Ok() vs. Err() to distinguish between the
two cases because we cannot assign an unresolvable url to -moz-bindings.

7436f01057 Bug 564411 Move all methods/attributes of nsIEditorIMESupport to nsIEditor r=smaug 
Doing QI from nsIEditor to nsIEditorIMESupport doesn't make sense because editor should always support all methods and attributes of nsIEditorIMESupport (it does NOT mean that all nsIEditor implementation need to support IME).

This patch moves all of them to nsIEditor for avoiding redundant QIs.

1. Hide menu bar
2. Press alt key to make menu bar appear.
3. Without this patch, the poistion of clip-path mask on the tab is not correct.

That is because we do not update mask transform of cached mask.

We have added a test case in bug 1197620 that finished animation with
fill:forwards on hidden elements restarts when the element gets visible, but
it did not catch this bug. We should have added a case without fill:forwards.

2207c01808 Bug 1322945 - Change skip_root to unstyled_children_only and use StyleNewChildren in more places. r=heycam 
I noticed that our current behavior in ContentRangeInserted is incorrect. Unlike
ContentInserted (where this code lived originally), ContentRangeInserted takes a
start and end element. I'm not sure if we ever take that path for new content that
needs style, but it seemed sketchy. And generally, it seems nice to just always
style new content the same way (though we still need to style NAC by the subtree
root, since it hasn't been attached to the parent yet).

For situations where there is indeed only one unstyled child, the traversal
overhead should be neglible, since we special-case the single-element in
parallel.rs to avoid calling into rayon.

Being more explicit about what we want here also makes us more robust against
the other handful of callpaths that can take us into
nsCSSFrameConstructor::{ContentRangeInserted,ContentAppended}. Currently we
can call StyleNewSubtree on an already-styled element via RecreateFramesForContent,
which triggers an assertion in the servo traversal.

e4d8f7fbe8 bug 1249162 - Fix unwanted thumb shifts when starting APZ drag r=botond 
Fix thumb position determination in these places:
- nsSliderFrame::StartAPZDrag() -- Constrain sliderTrack using
  GetXULClientRect() to match dimensions used in
  SetCurrentThumbPosition() and DoXULLayout(). This is what caused
  the scaling/offset mismatch.
- nsSliderFrame::StartAPZDrag() -- Adjust nonsensical calculation of
  cssSliderTrack. Should be sliderFrame + scrollbarFramePosition -
  compositionBoundsPosition, to get coordinates relative to the same
  region as that of APZ event coordinates.
- AsyncDragMetrics -- Make mScrollTrack and mScrollbarDragOffset float
  instead of int coordinates.
- AsyncPanZoomController::HandleDragEvent() -- Use
  GetAxisLength(scrollTrack) instead of GetAxisEnd(scrollTrack) in
  calculation of scrollMax.
- AsyncPanZoomController::HandleDragEvent() -- Only change position on
  MOUSE_MOVE.

Additional refactors:
- Rename HitTestingTreeNode::GetScrollSize() to GetScrollThumbLength(),
  along with related functions/variables.
- Rename AsyncPanZoomController::GetAxisSize() to GetAxisLength().
- Rename cf to scrollFrame in nsSliderFrame::StartAPZDrag().

d8c76e7543 Bug 1321127 - Add a assertion_count action to mozlog, r=ahal 
This is intended as a structured replacement for the assertion checks
that previously used unstructured logs. It adds a log action
assertion_count, which takes the actual number of assertions observed
during a test, the minimum expeced number and the maximum expected
number. It also updates the reftest harness to use this logging.
