9f1aec970a Bug 1374207 - part4: Element classes should use TextEditor class instead of nIEditor r=smaug 
Unfortunately, nsGenericHTMLElement::GetAssociatedEditor() cannot use concrete classes because it may return nsIEditor which is set via nsIDocShell.editor.  The editor set to nsIDocShell may be implemented by JS since nsIEditor isn't marked as builtinclass.

7ad4ad3aab Bug 1374207 - part1: nsTextEditorState should use mozilla::TextEditor instead of editor interfaces r=smaug 
Using concrete class rather than interface classes (nsI*Editor) will allow to reduce QI and some virtual calls.  Therefore, Editor classes should be used as concrete class as far as possible.

Unfortunately, if classes referring editor are initialized via scriptable interface, we cannot do this because nsI*Editor is still not marked as builtinclass.  Therefore, their editor may be implemented by JS.  E.g., inline nsIInlineSpellChecker.init() and nsIDocShell.editor.  Such remaining cases should be fixed after nsI*Editor classes are marked as builtinclass.

Note that this patch also creates nsIdentifierMapEntry.h which is separated from nsDocument.h because ShadowRoot.h needs the class but exposing nsDocument.h to the global and includes it causes bustage on Linux and Android.  Therefore, for fixing the include hell, this patch touches them and ContentChild.cpp.

Before this patch, we were setting the dirty descendants bit in animation-only
restyles and it triggered unnecessary traversal for elements that does not need

f337b95b60 Bug 1372829 - part2: mozilla::EditorBase should cache raw pointer of nsISelectionController and nsIDocument with nsWeakPtr r=froydnj,m_kato 
mozilla::EditorBase stores nsISelectionController and nsIDocument with nsWeakPtr.  However, nsWeakPtr requires QI to retrieve actual pointer and it makes some damage to the performance.  If mozilla::WeakPter were available for them, it'd be great.  However, it's not available with nsISelectionController nor nsIDocument because it's possible to implement SupportsWeakPtr only with their subclasses but the subclasses shouldn't be referred by editor.  Therefore, this patch creates mozilla::CachedWeakPtr<class T> which stores both raw pointer (as cache) and nsWeakPtr and when its cache is requested, it checks if the object referred by nsWeakPtr is still alive.

Additionally, this patch hides the members from subclasses of EditorBase for reducing the maintenance cost.

585fbe6cec Bug 1242505 - Detect unhandled rejections of native Promises in browser-chrome tests. r=Mossop 
The browser-chrome test suite now detects and reports unhandled rejections of native Promises, in addition to those created by Promise.jsm. The whitelisting mechanism is updated to use primarily the PromiseTestUtils.expectUncaughtRejection function. Tests will fail if a rejection that is not whitelisted occurs, or if a whitelisted rejection does not occur anymore.

7d1c0f2d14 Bug 1369303 - Part 2: Marking the performance timing API always reports 0 and the access of resource timing and user timing becomes NOP when 'privacy.resistFingerprinting' is true. r=arthuredelstein,baku 
This patch is going to neutralize the threat of fingerprinting of performance API
by spoofing the value of performance timing into 0, making getEntries* functions
always returns an empty list and making mark() and measure() into NOP methods.

In addition, this patch changes nsContentUtils::ShouldResistFingerprinting() to
allow it can be called in both main thread and worker threads.

We test the expected behavior base on the pref,
"security.data_uri.unique_opaque_origin".

We run the legacy test when the pref is off, however if the pref is on,
we run the new behavior, loading an iframe with X-FRAME-OPTIONS in a
data: URI should be blocked.

A mochitest browser test for image blocking.
We query the blocking status by reading imageBlockingStatus.

See nsImageLoadingContent.cpp for the logic of blocking image.
In this test we verified the following behavior:
1. image is loaded.
2. image is blocked.
3. mCurrentRequest doesn't have size yet, so it should be replaced.
4. mCurrentRequest already got size, the following request should be a
pendingRequest.

a221ac674f Bug 1355746 - Part 2. Polish IdleTaskRunner and reuse it for background parsing. r=smaug 
This patch is mainly to make IdleTaskRunner reusable by nsHtml5TreeOpExecutor.
The only necessary work to that purpose is to remove the dependency of
sShuttingDown, which was a static variable in nsJSEnvironment.cpp.
The idea is to have a "ShouldCancel" as a callback for the consumer to
return sShuttingDown.

In addition to sShuttingDown, we use std::function<bool()> as the runner
main callback type.

The strategy is to have the final file setup in this patch without any

This is necessary to facilitate the transition to cloning attributes instead of reparsing them.

HTMLImageElement's side effects proved to be a bit trickier than those of many other classes because HTMLImageElement::SetAttr intentionally forces an image reload, even if the attribute value has not been changed. Element::SetAttr, on the other hand, usually ignores attribute changes that do not change the attribute value, exiting before BeforeSetAttr is even called. In order to preserve this behavior, another virtual function |OnAttrSetButNotChanged| was added to the Element class. This function will be called in the case that Element::SetAttr exits early, allowing a forced reload to take place at that time.

ede22c7534 Bug 1369612 - Remove ProfilerStackFrameDynamicRAII and profiler_call_{enter,exit}. r=mstange. 
ProfilerStackFrameRAII and ProfilerStackFrameDynamicRAII are very similar; the
latter lets a dynamic string be specified as well (and lacks the
MOZ_GUARD_OBJECT stuff, for no good reason).

This patch does the following.

- Removes ProfilerStackFrameDynamicRAII, and adds a dynamic string to
  ProfilerStackFrameRAII. It also reorders the constructor's arguments to match
  the field ordering of ProfileEntry. There aren't many usage sites so these
  changes don't affect many places.

- With that done, there is only a single callsite for each of
  profiler_call_enter() and profiler_call_exit(), so the patch also inlines and
  removes them.

761a458cda Bug 1356546: Part 1 - Add a StructuredCloneHolder JS helper to hold opaque structured clone blobs. r=billm 
There are several places in the WebExtensions framework where we currently
need to repeatedly serialize and deserialize structured clone data as it
passes through message managers, which can lead to significant performance
issues.

This helper class lets us serialize a value directly from the source extension
context into an opaque blob, and then directly deserialize it into the target
context on the other end, with no X-ray overhead or clones into privileged
scopes in-between.

8b69d8d217 Bug 1369840 - Support getting the compositor-side APZ test data over PWebRenderBridge. r=botond 
This is fairly straightforward plumbing. The webrender equivalent of PLayerTransaction
is PWebRenderBridge and we can use that to get the compositor-side APZTestData.

This is the first step to making extension policy data directly available to
C++ code without any COM overhead. It tracks the set of currently active
extensions, and how they map to add-on IDs and URIs.
