edc1bae40c Bug 1560701 - Fixing the issue for the header of the protections panel that it doesn't deal well with long domain names. r=nhnt11 
The patch fixes the problem by setting the correct 'max-width' value for
the header span of the protections panel which was referencing to the
wrong variable. This adds a shared variable and makes both identity
panel and protections referencing to it.

It adds a strip background to the TP switch section after toggled the

7696519cff Bug 1555060 Convert <tabs> to a custom element 
The conversion for "regular" <tabs> elements is straightforward, most of
the work here is to support the tab strip (the <tabs> element with the id
"tabbrowser-tabs").  The markup needed for the tab strip moves directly
into browser.xhtml and the construction/teardown logic is now explicitly
driven from gBrowser.  There are many more little tweaks too numerous to
enumerate.

We were using the same ID on two elements, which kind of messed up things everywhere
our code reasonably expected only one element of the kind to exist. We just use a
class name now.

It's nice that quantumbar has the same amount of space between the type icon and favicon as it does between the favicon and title, unlike awesomebar.  i.e., there's a single margin-end value for both .urlbarView-type-icon and .urlbarView-favicon (urlbarViewIconMarginEnd, 8px).  So instead of adding another 9px value for .urlbarView-favicon's margin-end, this patch removes the 1px of padding in the urlbar input.  That has the added benefit that the space around the identity box and its search icon (shown when typing) is now more symmetrical, although there's still 1px more space on its right side than its left side.

This patch also adjusts spacing in the awesomebar popup so the alignment remains right there.

566d9090f7 Bug 1547459 - Use explicit text for desktop span preview not being available. r=sfoster 
When I implemented the no preview for span I did originally try using text in
the canvas, but discarded it when I realised trying to format it to display
nicely (across different languages and text lengths) was a losing proposition.
However just the prohibition symbol without context is confusing to users, and
on reflection the text can easily be included as an element stacked on top of
the canvas.

Also lighten the background of the no preview message, since the pure black was
indistinguishable from the frame sides on Windows and Linux.

Moves the mask to the url and title elements, uses a flex layout to ensure
elements properly overflow, and fixes alignments and paddings because the new
layout would be more compact. rows are slightly taller than before, but they were

9fb44dc7a9 Bug 1508961 - Show a notification icon after automatically dismissing permission prompts. r=MattN 
This adds support for a "post-prompt" that appears dismissed (only the icon showing) when
the browser decides to automatically deny a permission request from a site (either based on
internal heuristics or because the user prefers not to receive permission prompts).

In order to move quickly and not overload the patch I have only implemented the post-prompting
for desktop-notification so far, however, implementing it for other permissions should be
a trivial follow-up.

- I removed the forked redirection from AboutRedirector.cpp
- I deleted the original aboutNetError.xhtml and aboutNetError.css files
  and moved aboutNetError-new.xhtml and aboutNetError-new.css in their place instead.
- I removed the browser.security.newcerterrorpage.enabled pref and all its usages.
- I removed some localization strings and resources that went unused because of the above changes.

Currently for any screen with a ratio 1.6 or above, the preview uses a 16:10
image.  However, the majority of Fx users have a screen that is 16:9[0], so for
most users the preview shows images distorted (compressed horizontally).

Originally I just added a new 16:9 version of the monitor image, but then I
realised I could save on filesize _and_ make it responsive to whatever the
user's screen actually is, rather than using arbitrary presets, by using
border-image.

The new image files are just sliced up versions of the original monitor.png
files, zopfli compressed to match (though with the power indicator dropped from
the Linux/Windows version to avoid distorting it).  The combined filesize
savings seem to be 8.5KiB on macOS and 6.5KiB on Linux/Windows.

With the removal of the use of margins on the canvas we no longer need the
platform-specific setDesktopBackground.css file.

As of 3rd March 2019 the top three resolutions, 1366x768, 1080p, & 1600x900,
are all 16:9 and make up 67% of the userbase.
