3aceecbc49 Bug 785772 - Don't use -O0 during stage1 on darwin. r=rail. 
We only need to build stage1 with -O0 on linux because of a bug in the gcc
4.5 we use.

898b4277c1 Bug 776537 - Pass a valid environment to populate_virtualenv.py, unbreaking configure, by expanding HOST_CFLAGS and friends when they're created. r=glandium 
Also fix up some Makefile.in's so they specify HOST_CFLAGS/CXXFLAGS correctly.
