16febf486b Backing away from SUNW 5.0 version - the 4.2 workshop is the same as GCC 
output and Matthias has a way to get the 5.0 workshop to produce 4.2 (and
hence GCC) compatible vtables. I'm leaving the structure intact for now in
case we need to use it for flag setting or whatever.

3f1dcd11dc Various fixes to let the tree compile with gcc 2.95: 
String constants are now (const char *)s and must be explicitly cast to (char *).
operator new is expected to be empty or throw an expection instead of returning null. (ifdef'd for gcc 2.95+)
Stricter checks on register clobbering in embedded asm. (at least I think that's what it is)
Expects the main function to return int, not something similiar to it like PRInt32.

Still requires a tweak to remove -mno-486 from NSPR's *.mk files.

4b66e49f5a initial checking of xptcall code. This module allows arbitrary invocation of xpcom methods and also allows an object to impersonate an object of an arbitrary xpcom class. This code is used for XPConnect and will also be used for a scriptable interface to RDF. The build scheme for libxpt, xptinfo, and xpconnect may be a bit screwy on some platforms until this settles down.
