2bddef83ba Improve the way in which nsEvent and its subclasses are initialized. Commonly-used members can now be initialized via an inline constructor, and all other members are initialized to zero. eventStructType is set automatically. This also fixes some cases where an eventStructType was doubling as a message -- NS_TEXT_EVENT is now only used as an eventStructType, with a message of NS_TEXT_TEXT. NS_COMPOSITION_* events get an eventStructType of NS_COMPOSITION_EVENT, and ditto for NS_RECONVERSION_*. NS_DRAGDROP_EVENT is no longer an eventStructType since it is not a unique type of struct. e65d2d2fe5 Eliminate nsIStyleSet as an XPCOM interface, making the implementation internal to layout. Frame constructor ownership moves to the pres shell, and the style set methods that forward to the frame constructor are gone. Rewrote style set sheet add/remove to reduce code size. dfe3513814 Change all callers of nsIPresContext::GetShell() to use the non-refcounting versions. Most callers now use PresShell(), a few that were checking for null conditions are using GetPresShell() -- this will be remedied once we can ensure that a prescontext never has a null pres shell. 19d1d413c2 Fix misc build issues for mingw gcc 3.3.1: 
* Link non-component libs using -Wl,-enable-runtime-psuedo-relocs to workaround auto-import issues
* the last element of an enum cannot end with a comma
* PRUint16 is not interchangable with PRUnichar nor WCHAR
* cannot take the address of or call ::main() from another c++ function
* Functions declared within |class foo {};| block do not need extra |foo::| qualification
* GCC no longer implements <varargs.h>. Use <stdarg.h> instead

0d2808c511 Create a new xpcom obsolete library (and component library). 
Moved nsFileSpec and related classes into this obsolete library.
  Moved nsRegistry and related libreg functionality into the obsolete library.

Updated many callers using the obsolete nsFile spec to use nsIFile and Necko to do file IO.

Combined the following DLLs (source -> dest)
  uriloader -> docshell
  shistory -> docshell
  jsurl -> jsdom
  gkview -> gklayout

Moved nsAdapterEnumerator out of xpcom/ds and into mailnews, since they're the only consumer

Modifed the xpt_link tool so that you can specify a �only include� cid list that can mask CID�s that you are not interested in.

Added build options:
Prevent the building of xpinstall (--disable-xpinstall)
Prevent the building js component loader (--disable-jsloader)
A build option to only build a single profile (--enable-single-profile)
A build flag to only built the required xpfe components (--disable-xpfe-components).

Removal or hiding of unused functions and classes including nsEscape*, nsDequeIterator, nsRecyclingAllocatorImpl, nsDiscriminatedUnion, nsOpaqueKey, nsCRT::strlen, NS_NewCommandLineService

Add code to viewer to set the max text length since on OS/2 entryfields default to 32.
30000 was picked because that is how big Windows text fields are.
This is not #ifdef OS/2 because we should be setting things to some default.

0c2431c236 Force in-tree zlib to be built using -fPIC. 
Re-order linking of mozilla-bin & viewer so that TK_LIBS, which bring in an implicit dependency upon the system zlib on Darwin, is linked in after the in-tree version of zlib.

b0d4aa8fa7 Use relative path to static toolkit specific viewer lib instead of waiting for it to be exported to $(DIST). 
Fix -jx bustage made evident by upgrading tinderboxes to make 3.79.1.
