a58160b6e3 Workaround for bug 50782. The first attempt to fix this was r=pnull 
a=brendan r=brendan.  Unfortunatly it broke the Mac.  This is the same
patch with #ifdefs for the mac.  This is r=scc

0dcd7b7275 Lie in ImgDWriteReady as a minimal impact workaround until 
41831 is fixed.  This was causing JNG images not to display
out of the cache, and probably occasionally a failed first
