814b876053 Bug 224829 - docshell should not require non-gecko interface nsIBrowserHistory. This was fixed by introducing a new interface nsIGlobalHistory2 to replace the current nsIGlobalHistory. e65d2d2fe5 Eliminate nsIStyleSet as an XPCOM interface, making the implementation internal to layout. Frame constructor ownership moves to the pres shell, and the style set methods that forward to the frame constructor are gone. Rewrote style set sheet add/remove to reduce code size. b4cc5d4695 Fixing bug 124412. Making nsXULDocument inherit nsXMLDocument to avoid the need to duplicate a large amount of code in nsXULDocument. 0d2808c511 Create a new xpcom obsolete library (and component library). 
Moved nsFileSpec and related classes into this obsolete library.
  Moved nsRegistry and related libreg functionality into the obsolete library.

Updated many callers using the obsolete nsFile spec to use nsIFile and Necko to do file IO.

Combined the following DLLs (source -> dest)
  uriloader -> docshell
  shistory -> docshell
  jsurl -> jsdom
  gkview -> gklayout

Moved nsAdapterEnumerator out of xpcom/ds and into mailnews, since they're the only consumer

Modifed the xpt_link tool so that you can specify a �only include� cid list that can mask CID�s that you are not interested in.

Added build options:
Prevent the building of xpinstall (--disable-xpinstall)
Prevent the building js component loader (--disable-jsloader)
A build option to only build a single profile (--enable-single-profile)
A build flag to only built the required xpfe components (--disable-xpfe-components).

Removal or hiding of unused functions and classes including nsEscape*, nsDequeIterator, nsRecyclingAllocatorImpl, nsDiscriminatedUnion, nsOpaqueKey, nsCRT::strlen, NS_NewCommandLineService

fe53f95e60 Make the CSSLoader correctly order stylesheets as they are dynamically added 
and removed via the DOM.  Clean up the nsIDocument stylesheet accessors.  Clean
up nsIDocumentObserver stylesheet stuff a bit.  Make style sheets visible in
the CSSOM (though not completely accessible) from the moment the load is kicked
off.  Make us have sheet objects that can be manipulated via CSSOM even for
failed loads. Bug 107567, bug 47734, bug 57225, bug 178407.

03ace271f0 Add CPP_THROW_NEW macro to the build system. This macro should be used when defining a local |operator new| function. It will be set to an empty throw function by default on all platforms except mac CW builds. This will allow us to not crash on systems that expect |operator new| to throw an exception by default and will suppress compiler warnings about how |operator new| should throw an exception instead of returning NULL.

c0ec608df6 Add 'make install' target to build. It's "MRE-friendly". (See http://www.mozilla.org/projects/embedding/MRE.html for details.) 
Changes:
* Added EXTRA_COMPONENTS variable to build.  Use it to automagically install files into the components dir.
* Added SYSINSTALL variable.  Use it install files onto the system.
* Move mozilla-config generation from configure to makefiles
* mozilla-config will now generate paths based upon the MRE-based directory layout.
* Generate mozilla script from template

The installation heirarchy currently looks like:
$prefix -> /bin/mozilla
           /bin/mozilla-config
           /include/mozilla-ver/*
           /lib/mozilla-ver  (mozappdir)
                            /components
                            /res
                            /defaults
                            /chrome

There is preliminary build support for MRE dirs as well though the component manager hasn't had MRE support added yet.
