This works around a bug in Python: https://bugs.python.org/issue32745 Null characters aren't allowed in 'c_wchar_p' types anymore, but we can get around the issue by allocating a buffer in memory and casting it after the fact. This was discovered via trial and error and I'm not really sure why it works.. But it does. This also enables the tests under Python 3 on Windows (which thankfully all seem to pass). Mozbase
Mozbase is a set of easy-to-use Python packages forming a supplemental standard library for Mozilla. It provides consistency and reduces redundancy in automation and other system-level software. All of Mozilla's test harnesses use mozbase to some degree, including Talos, mochitest, and reftest.
Learn more about mozbase at the project page.
