This patch provides some of the groundwork for column spans greater than 1. It implements the column-span CSS property as well as the corresponding colspan attribute; although the former is not well-specified outside of CSS multi-column layout, INTRINSIC refers to it. Although width is distributed to spanning columns, they do not yet contribute minimum and preferred widths; this will be implemented in a follow-up. The parsing for the legacy bgcolor and border attributes is implemented according to the WHATWG HTML specification. Additionally, this patch cleans up some miscellaneous formatting issues, refactors layout/css somewhat to eliminate needless levels of indirection, and cleans up the handling of table rowgroups. The Servo Parallel Browser Project
Servo is a prototype web browser engine written in the Rust language. It is currently developed on 64bit OS X, 64bit Linux, and Android.

Prerequisites

The Rust compiler
Servo uses a snapshot Rust compiler to build itself. This is normally a
specific revision of Rust upstream, but sometimes has a backported patch or
two. If you'd like to know the snapshot revision of Rust which we use, see
./rust-snapshot-hash.
Building
Servo is built with Cargo, the Rust package manager. We also use Mozilla's Mach tools to orchestrate the build and other tasks.
Normal build

Building for Android target
git clone https://github.com/servo/servo
cd servo

Rather than setting the ANDROID_* environment variables every time, you can
also create a .servobuild file and then edit it to contain the correct paths
to the Android SDK/NDK tools:
