What would you like to see?

I would like to propose a feature that allows users to close the modal dialogue for selecting documents in workspaces using the Escape key on their keyboard. Currently, users must click on the close button to dismiss the modal, which can be inconvenient when navigating through multiple workspaces.

As someone who has a large number of workspaces, I often find myself needing to quickly switch between workspaces and check which documents I've pinned per workspace. The current workflow requires me to move my mouse to the close button, then back to the document selection button for the next workspace. By allowing the Escape key to close the modal, users can streamline their workflow and reduce mouse movement.

This feature would provide an additional option for users to dismiss the modal, improving the overall user experience and efficiency. I believe this feature would be particularly beneficial for users who work with multiple workspaces and need to quickly switch between them.

Use Case:

  1. User opens a workspace and clicks on the document selection button.
  2. The modal dialogue appears, displaying a list of documents.
  3. User selects a document or decides to cancel.
  4. Instead of clicking on the close button, user presses the Escape key to dismiss the modal.
