It is not possible to clear the chat from the chat screen. I have to go into the settings to do that. It would be nice to have a button to clear the chat, e.g., to start a new chat or to do over when the chat goes sideways.

type /reset into chat. There used to be a tip for it but it was dropped in redesign.
