How are you running AnythingLLM?

AnythingLLM desktop app

What happened?

During installation (progress bar approximately 80-90% complete), I get the following error box:
Error: Failed to download the local LLM libraries (Error: resolving hostname)
Please visit https://docs.anythingllm.com/installation-desktop/windows for more help.
The built-in localLLM provider will not function until this is fixed, but all others are OK to use.

After pressing Ok, the install finishes and I'm able to run it with no apparent issues, until I upload a document to the
workspace. When i enter a query based on the document I uploaded earlier (after moving it to workspace in settings) I get
a "failed to fetch" error, which I assume is related to the files which were unable to be downloaded during the initial setup.

My internet connection is fine and I'm using it with no problems.

Are there known steps to reproduce?

Install AnythingLLM on Windows 10 64 bit computer.

This is due to rate limiting on our CDN, we just raised it. It was aggressively low this week due to a DDOS event.

The installation still failing and I can ping to the Huggingface and also using the VPN with U.S IP address.

https://docs.anythingllm.com/installation-desktop/manual-install

Those files do not come from HF, they come from our CDN - which if the DNS does not resolve is something client side

Thanks, will check the DNS on CDN and download/extract the package if still won't work.
