How are you running AnythingLLM?

AnythingLLM desktop app

What happened?

Tried to create a new workspace, upon naming it and clicking save the app went white and needed to be restarted. The workspace was created though and works fine.

Was using v1.7.7 on macOS 14.4 when this happened.

Are there known steps to reproduce?

It also may be worth asking what you named the workspace as this could be related to the bug if it is some kind of escape issue

I'm on v1.7.6 on Windows 10 and am also experiencing this, and I believe I also see it on v1.7.6 on macOS 14 as well. Video and backend log from Windows attached.

Updated to v1.7.7 on Windows and same behavior.

@vitorio The backend logs are too helpful here since this appears to be a frontend issue - can you run the app in debug mode? This should show all logs, but might still omit frontend crash logs
