How are you running AnythingLLM?

AnythingLLM desktop app

What happened?

Why is the environment variable OLLAMA_MODELS set by ollama invalid after installing anything-llm? I don't want to put model on drive C

Are there known steps to reproduce?

If you have Ollama installed on the host, you can just use your personal ollama installation and use the Ollama LLM provider - not the built in.

The built in default ollama ≠ existing ollama install. We do not override your install or touch it, so any settings would persist - like your ENVs
