How are you running AnythingLLM?

Docker (local)

What happened?

I create an embed chat from my docker run.
Inside the workspace using @agent I can obtain answers that use MCP tools.
Instead if I embed it into a site also if I write @agent it do not use the tools.

There is a way to have a chat in agentic mode by default or in general any way to do it work in the embedded chat?

Are there known steps to reproduce?

No response

@timothycarambat commented on GitHub (Jul 22, 2025):

Not a bug, agents do not run in embed for good reason - its currently a feature request on page one of issues #4154
