How are you running AnythingLLM?

Docker Alma Linux server

What happened?

It doesn't matter what folder I create or re-use they always end up in custom-documents and not the folder I have selected.

Are there known steps to reproduce?

  1. Create a new folder in Documents.
  2. Click or drag files to the upload square.
  3. Wait for the upload to finish.
  4. See files are in custom-documents and not where I tried to upload them to.

Percana, the one that was selected, is empty.

custom-documents which was not selected is full of the documents I tried to upload.

This has always been the case. If you upload a document via the UI in any method, they always have gone into custom-documents. They have never not gone there in any version of the software ever - this has always been the behavior.

From there you can move files into custom folders you can also create, but this has always been the case.

Ok so I see what happened now, when I upload 3k+ files at once, some of them are created in random folders that didn't exist before the upload, why, I do not know, I need to select all, unselect the folders I actually want to keep as they were, and move everything to the folder I want to, then do the same again but delete all of the randomly created folders which now have no images in them.
