How are you running AnythingLLM?

Docker (local)

What happened?

When I send a new message in a chat thread and hover over it, the 'Edit response' (pencil) icon does not appear underneath my message. The icon is also missing for any further messages I send in that same session. The icon does appear and work correctly after I close and reopen the chat.

Are there known steps to reproduce?

  1. Open any existing chat thread or start a new one.
  2. Type and send a message.
  3. Hover over the message you just sent and see that the 'Edit response' icon is missing. The AI's response will have its icons, but yours will not.
  4. Exit the chat thread (e.g., click on a different workspace) and then re-enter the same thread.
  5. The 'Edit response' icon is now visible under the message you sent in step 2.

Delete Branch "%!s()"

Deleting a branch is permanent. Although the deleted branch may continue to exist for a short time before it actually gets removed, it CANNOT be undone in most cases. Continue?
