Question related to security.

This application claims "to be secure" but after a Windows installation it requires Internet connections and it calls home and furthermore it will not start without internet connection.

Please explain this behaviour

That is untrue, you can run the app totally offline, and turning off Telemetry is as simple as turning it off in the UI or via ENV directly before startup.
