How are you running AnythingLLM?

AnythingLLM desktop app

What happened?

I'm trying to install the Windows desktop app. Repeatedly fails on on 'Downloading Meeting Assistant Model' i.e. zero progress. I cancel this and the installation completes but then AnythingLLM crashes about 0.5s after I start it (I get a brief glimpse of a splash screen). Similarly it then gets stuck uninstalling and I have to restart my entire system and just manually delete the installation folder.

Scratch this. Seemed to install after 3rd attempt when I left it. Maybe no progress bar update fooling me into thinking nothing was downloading?

I have encountered this issue once. Download Revo Uninstaller, searched for AnythingLLM, and went through the uninstall process in advanced mode. Got rid of all folders, which then let me install without issue.

That progress bar for some reason wont stream the download. It basically is downloading the MA model because otherwise you wont have it when you need it. It will look empty or looking like it is "hanging" until it is done - then it flashes by.

I am aware of this bug, either going to make a confirm dialog to pull the model now or defer for later and also fix the progress bar. It is all written in NSIS and its basically hieroglyphics to me

Delete Branch "%!s()"

Deleting a branch is permanent. Although the deleted branch may continue to exist for a short time before it actually gets removed, it CANNOT be undone in most cases. Continue?
