How are you running AnythingLLM?

AnythingLLM desktop app

What happened?

Ok, i never saw this paradox before... i install, and installer tell me that i need to close him ? Could you please resolve this issue ? either i had two processes (and i did not know which one i have to close) or i have just one.. but result is the same .

i dont have app aLLLm started, neither is starting on startup.

serously..?

Are there known steps to reproduce?

steps to reproduce:
1/ download latest downloader installer_AnythingLLMDesktop.exe Desktop
v1.11.0 ( why even in installer name does not contain version name ? )
2/ i start to install
3/ issue arises

Cannot replicate this, the reason it occurs is usually the following:

  • You installed anythingllm for all users, not current
  • The application is running on another user profile or installed in directory you cannot remove files from (b/c installed for all users)
  • Reboot usually resolves this.

It does, it is in the bottom left of the installer and is in the screenshot you posted
