How are you running AnythingLLM?

AnythingLLM desktop app

What happened?

The command + / chat window that opens up has white text on a white background.

How do I fix this?

It makes it impossible to use - the response from the LLM comes back white too

Image Image

v1.11.0
on MacOs 15.7.4 (24G517)

ALSO 2 suggestions for improvements:

  • Main chat window should have command + N shortcut to start a new chat. So weird that it does nothing when I do that.
  • There should be a shortcut from the mini chat window to go into the full screen program. Maybe command + o

Are there known steps to reproduce?

No response

@timothycarambat commented on GitHub (Mar 2, 2026):

This is fixed in 1.11.1 release. It has to do with vibrancy/transparency when in light mode on MacOS. Will be released today
