How are you running AnythingLLM?

Docker (local)

What happened?

Software is limited to a single modifier combination w/ -Key as stated in section description "The shortcut will always use ⌘ as a modifier."

Is there a valid reason for this limitation?

Are there known steps to reproduce?

No response

@timothycarambat commented on GitHub (Mar 2, 2026):

Yes, there is a reason for this currently, there are hidden keybinds right now that are inactive in the app to "Open with current context" and "Open with screen-snip" - both of which have to be bound to the same keycombo where only the 3rd option can be modified.

In the later v2 release this will be a fully customizable chain you can use.
