How are you running AnythingLLM?

AnythingLLM desktop app

What happened?

This is about the installer being stuck. I am running Win10 and starting from having v1.11.2 installed about a week. I downloaded the windows installer for v1.12 and ran the installer. The existing v1.11.2 app already running and closed it right after. At about 10-20% install progress, this message appears: "AnythingLLM cannot be closed. Please close it manually and click retry to continue."

I made sure the desktop app was closed (system tray, task manager, started desktop app and closed it) and clicked retry. waited about 30 seconds and error returns. I tried retry once more.

I clicked cancel. exited the installer, and rebooted my machine.

After reboot and withOUT starting my existing install of desktop app (I have v1.11.2 set to NOT start on boot), I started the v1.12 installer again. The same "cannot be closed" issue persists. I'd rather not have to uninstall.

Any ideas how to fix?
