How are you running AnythingLLM?

Docker (local)

What happened?

My setting:
iMac 27" Intel under Ventura , where AnythingLLM Desktop is
MacMini M4 where under Tahoe, where LMStudio is

I work from my iMac and use Universal Contros (Mouse and Keyboard) to switch computer.

  1. I i start the widget Assistant under the iMac then anything LLM as Window do not exist enymore, that mean it can be relied via the Docker, because the icon is not here any more.
  2. if im unlucky and I'm in situation descriptor a point 1, the Universal Control is totally broken, if I click on a LMStudio (on the macmini), the mouse curser switch back to the iMac , I have to go back to the Macmini and recheck in my LMStudio, then again , and again in loop, only only click is allowed before the cursor is force to back on the iMac.

The only one fixe found is to close AnythingLLM and never open the small widget again.
Unfortunately my PyCharm IDE use CMD + / as default for commentary :).

Look like AnythingLLM is really agressive for grab focus , but look a bad think for Universal Control

documentation about universal control: https://support.apple.com/en-us/102459

Regards

Are there known steps to reproduce?

You can change the default keybind for the Assistant panel in the setting menu as well as disable the keybind globally. Either of those solutions will fix this
