I've tried to add some Agent Skills from the Community Hub, via Import a Community Item function to the default Workspace. More precisely, I tried to add a few of them.

Once I was done adding, I thought they'd added themselves to the Agent/Custom Skills section within the APPLICATION SETTINGS. In reality, only three under Custom skills got added. Perhaps I am misunderstanding the function of how this feature works. Is there something I am doing wrong? Documentation on how to use them is not so clear to me, as well.

Thank you,
MB

Do you have links to which specific skills and when importing did you get any errors? That would be the only way to chase this

Hi,

I tried it with a few different items. I've created a screen capture of the process I used to add one of those items to AnythingLLM which can be found here and will probably expire in one to three days on this site:
Custom Prompt Video

Thank you,

@mbennette68 Ah, that explains the issue - thanks for the video.

You imported a system prompt but you were looking at Agent Skills.

Prompts are just the prompt for the workspace, its just text! For example, go to the "gear" icon on the main UI for "My Workspace" and youll see this text box - this is what you modified

Image

System prompts are just quick prompts to share with others for some intended behavior or something - you can see that in the UI on this screen

And the alerts confirms that

Oh, my mistake. For some reason, I thought that those'd be added to the Agent Skills sections. I
Basically, it's just a copy and paste action where I can just copy the prompt and manually feed it to the AI.

Ok, I understand now. 'm just starting to use the UI so don't know my way around it at the moment.

Thank you for your clarification,
MB
