e4127d626e Do not use named md nodes to track variables that are completely optimized. This does not scale while doing LTO with debug info. New approach is to include list of variables in the subprogram info directly.

630d8ce36b Until now all debug info MDNodes referred to a root MDNode, a compile unit. This simplified handling of these needs in dwarf writer. However, one side effect of this is that during link time optimization all these MDNodes are _not_ uniqued. In other words there will be N number of MDNodes describing "int", "char" and all other types, which would suddenly grow when each object file starts using libraries like STL. 
MDNodes graph structure such that compiler unit keeps track of important MDNodes and update dwarf writer to process mdnodes top-down instead of bottom up.

39ac307002 Do not emit DW_AT_upper_bound and DW_AT_lower_bound for unbouded array. 
If lower bound is more then upper bound then consider it is an unbounded array.
An array is unbounded if non-zero lower bound is same as upper bound.
If lower bound and upper bound are zero than array has one element.

6b8861e9f6 Overhauled llvm/clang docs builds. Closes PR6613. 
NOTE: 2nd part changeset for cfe trunk to follow.

*** PRE-PATCH ISSUES ADDRESSED

- clang api docs fail build from objdir
- clang/llvm api docs collide in install PREFIX/
- clang/llvm main docs collide in install
- clang/llvm main docs have full of hard coded destination
  assumptions and make use of absolute root in static html files;
  namely CommandGuide tools hard codes a website destination
  for cross references and some html cross references assume
  website root paths

*** IMPROVEMENTS

- bumped Doxygen from 1.4.x -> 1.6.3
- splits llvm/clang docs into 'main' and 'api' (doxygen) build trees
- provide consistent, reliable doc builds for both main+api docs
- support buid vs. install vs. website intentions
- support objdir builds
- document targets with 'make help'
- correct clean and uninstall operations
- use recursive dir delete only where absolutely necessary
- added call function fn.RMRF which safeguards against botched 'rm -rf';
  if any target (or any variable is evaluated) which attempts
  to remove any dirs which match a hard-coded 'safelist', a verbose
  error will be printed and make will error-stop.

4995bb0450 Start using DIFile. See updated SourceLevelDebugging.html for more information. 
This patch updates LLVMDebugVersion to 8.
Debug info descriptors encoded using LLVMDebugVersion 7 is supported.

Corresponding llvmgcc and clang FE commits are required.

7d42bfab6c Update DebugInfo interface to use metadata, instead of special named llvm.dbg.... global variables, to encode debugging information in llvm IR. This is mostly a mechanical change that tests metadata support very well. 
This change speeds up llvm-gcc by more then 6% at "-O0 -g" (measured by compiling InstructionCombining.cpp!)
