92078fc49a [DebugInfoMetadata] Move main subprogram DIFlag into DISPFlags
Moving subprogram specific flags into DISPFlags makes IR code more readable.
In addition, we provide free space in DIFlags for other
'non-subprogram-specific' debug info flags.

Patch by Djordje Todorovic.

6e8fb99b69 IR: Add immarg attribute
This indicates an intrinsic parameter is required to be a constant,
and should not be replaced with a non-constant value.

Add the attribute to all AMDGPU and generic intrinsics that comments
indicate it should apply to. I scanned other target intrinsics, but I
don't see any obvious comments indicating which arguments are intended
to be only immediates.

This breaks one questionable testcase for the autoupgrade. I'm unclear
on whether the autoupgrade is supposed to really handle declarations
which were never valid. The verifier fails because the attributes now
refer to a parameter past the end of the argument list.

ecff519a16 [Bitcode] Fix bitcode compatibility issue with clang.arc.use intrinsic
Summary:
In r349534, objc arc implementation is switched to use intrinsics and at
the same time, clang.arc.use is renamed to llvm.objc.clang.arc.use to
make the naming more consistent. The side-effect of that is llvm no
longer recognize it as intrinsics and codegen external references to
it instead.

Rather than upgrade the old intrinsics name to the new one and wait for
the arc-contract pass to remove it, simply remove it in the bitcode
upgrader.

e3696113b6 Implementation of asm-goto support in LLVM
This patch accompanies the RFC posted here:
http://lists.llvm.org/pipermail/llvm-dev/2018-October/127239.html

This patch adds a new CallBr IR instruction to support asm-goto
inline assembly like gcc as used by the linux kernel. This
instruction is both a call instruction and a terminator
instruction with multiple successors. Only inline assembly
usage is supported today.

This also adds a new INLINEASM_BR opcode to SelectionDAG and
MachineIR to represent an INLINEASM block that is also
considered a terminator instruction.

There will likely be more bug fixes and optimizations to follow
this, but we felt it had reached a point where we would like to
switch to an incremental development model.

2e1beed270 [Sanitizers] UBSan unreachable incompatible with ASan in the presence of noreturn calls
Summary:
UBSan wants to detect when unreachable code is actually reached, so it
adds instrumentation before every `unreachable` instruction. However,
the optimizer will remove code after calls to functions marked with
`noreturn`. To avoid this UBSan removes `noreturn` from both the call
instruction as well as from the function itself. Unfortunately, ASan
relies on this annotation to unpoison the stack by inserting calls to
`_asan_handle_no_return` before `noreturn` functions. This is important
for functions that do not return but access the the stack memory, e.g.,
unwinder functions *like* `longjmp` (`longjmp` itself is actually
"double-proofed" via its interceptor). The result is that when ASan and
UBSan are combined, the `noreturn` attributes are missing and ASan
cannot unpoison the stack, so it has false positives when stack
unwinding is used.

Changes:
  # UBSan now adds the `expect_noreturn` attribute whenever it removes
the `noreturn` attribute from a function
  # ASan additionally checks for the presence of this attribute

Generated code:
```
call void @__asan_handle_no_return    // Additionally inserted to avoid false positives
call void @longjmp
call void @__asan_handle_no_return
call void @__ubsan_handle_builtin_unreachable
unreachable
```

The second call to `__asan_handle_no_return` is redundant. This will be
cleaned up in a follow-up patch.

73f9a1d617 Revert r351778: IR: Add fp operations to atomicrmw
This broke the RISCV build, and even with that fixed, one of the RISCV
tests behaves surprisingly differently with asserts than without,
leaving there no clear test pattern to use. Generally it seems bad for
hte IR to differ substantially due to asserts (as in, an alloca is used
with asserts that isn't needed without!) and nothing I did simply would
fix it so I'm reverting back to green.

This also required reverting the RISCV build fix in r351782.

e39377580b [LTO] Record whether LTOUnit splitting is enabled in index
Summary:
Records in the module summary index whether the bitcode was compiled
with the option necessary to enable splitting the LTO unit
(e.g. -fsanitize=cfi, -fwhole-program-vtables, or -fsplit-lto-unit).

The information is passed down to the ModuleSummaryIndex builder via a
new module flag "EnableSplitLTOUnit", which is propagated onto a flag
on the summary index.

This is then used during the LTO link to check whether all linked
summaries were built with the same value of this flag. If not, an error
is issued when we detect a situation requiring whole program visibility
of the class hierarchy. This is the case when both of the following
conditions are met:
1) We are performing LowerTypeTests or Whole Program Devirtualization.
2) There are type tests or type checked loads in the code.

Note I have also changed the ThinLTOBitcodeWriter to also gate the
module splitting on the value of this flag.

f1f1adc004 [ThinLTO] Compute synthetic function entry count
Summary:
This patch computes the synthetic function entry count on the whole

the IR as metadata. Since it adds a new field to the summary, this bumps

I split out the inlinable piece into a separate flag on the

because in the future we may want to import for reasons other than
inlining.

cf8a4a5d5e DebugInfo: Add metadata support for disabling DWARF pub sections
In cases where the debugger load time is a worthwhile tradeoff (or less
costly - such as loading from a DWP instead of a variety of DWOs
(possibly over a high-latency/distributed filesystem)) against object
file size, it can be reasonable to disable pubnames and corresponding
gdb-index creation in the linker.

A backend-flag version of this was implemented for NVPTX in
D44385/r327994 - which was fine for NVPTX which wouldn't mix-and-match
CUs. Now that it's going to be a user-facing option (likely powered by
"-gno-pubnames", the same as GCC) it should be encoded in the
DICompileUnit so it can vary per-CU.

After this, likely the NVPTX support should be migrated to the metadata
& the previous flag implementation should be removed.

create either a bitcode file with a Module and a per-module index, or
a combined index without a Module.

I will send follow on patches soon to do the following:
- add support to tools such as llvm-lto2 to parse the per-module indexes
from assembly instead of bitcode when testing the thin link.
- verification support.

Depends on D47844 and D47842.

2a70cfb61f [ThinLTO] Fix a few more test match issues
Fix a few more bot failures due to r333335:
- don't match path other than file name, since the delimiter is
different for Windows
- The summary IDs in thinlto-function-summary-refgraph.ll may vary
and therefore can't be matched exactly, because the ordering depends
on the iteration order of the index map which is keyed by GUID. The GUID
for private values will depend on the path.

a9a2147997 [ThinLTO] Print module summary index to assembly
Summary:
Implements AsmWriter support for printing the module summary index to
assembly with the format discussed in the RFC "LLVM Assembly format for
ThinLTO Summary".

Implements just enough of the parsing support to recognize and ignore
the summary entries. As agreed in the RFC thread, this will be the
behavior when assembling the IR. A follow on change will implement
parsing/assembling of the summary entries for use by tools that
currently build the summary index from bitcode.

a8a13bc662 [DebugInfo] Add DILabel metadata and intrinsic llvm.dbg.label.
In order to set breakpoints on labels and list source code around
labels, we need collect debug information for labels, i.e., label
name, the function label belong, line number in the file, and the
address label located. In order to keep these information in LLVM
IR and to allow backend to generate debug information correctly.
We create a new kind of metadata for labels, DILabel. The format
of DILabel is

!DILabel(scope: !1, name: "foo", file: !2, line: 3)

We hope to keep debug information as much as possible even the
code is optimized. So, we create a new kind of intrinsic for label
metadata to avoid the metadata is eliminated with basic block.
The intrinsic will keep existing if we keep it from optimized out.
The format of the intrinsic is

llvm.dbg.label(metadata !1)

It has only one argument, that is the DILabel metadata. The
intrinsic will follow the label immediately. Backend could get the
label metadata through the intrinsic's parameter.

We also create DIBuilder API for labels to be used by Frontend.
Frontend could use createLabel() to allocate DILabel objects, and use
insertLabel() to insert llvm.dbg.label intrinsic in LLVM IR.

d3f03a6227 [ThinLTO] Serialize WithGlobalValueDeadStripping index flag for distributed backends
Summary:
A recent fix to drop dead symbols (r323633) did not work for ThinLTO
distributed backends because we lose the WithGlobalValueDeadStripping
set on the index during the thin link. This patch adds a new flags
record to the bitcode format for the index, and serializes this flag
for the combined index (it would always be 0 for the per-module index
generated by the compile step, so no need to serialize the new flags
record there until/unless we add another flag that applies to the
per-module indexes).

Generally this flag should always be set for the distributed backends,
which are necessarily performed after the thin link. However, if we were
to simply set this flag on the index applied to the distributed backends
(invoked via clang), we would lose the ability to disable dead stripping
via -compute-dead=false for debugging purposes.
