e3e43d9d57 Sort the remaining #include lines in include/... and lib/....
I did this a long time ago with a janky python script, but now
clang-format has built-in support for this. I fed clang-format every
line with a #include and let it re-sort things according to the precise
LLVM rules for include ordering baked into clang-format these days.

I've reverted a number of files where the results of sorting includes
isn't healthy. Either places where we have legacy code relying on
particular include ordering (where possible, I'll fix these separately)
or where we have particular formatting around #include lines that
I didn't want to disturb in this patch.

This patch is *entirely* mechanical. If you get merge conflicts or
anything, just ignore the changes in this patch and run clang-format
over your #include lines in the files.

Sorry for any noise here, but it is important to keep these things
stable. I was seeing an increasing number of patches with irrelevant
re-ordering of #include lines because clang-format was used. This patch
at least isolates that churn, makes it easy to skip when resolving
conflicts, and gets us to a clean baseline (again).

1fd5bb9c53 Support for taking the max of module flags when linking, use for PIE/PIC
Summary:
Add Max ModFlagBehavior, which can be used to take the max of two
module flag values when merging modules. Use it for the PIE and PIC
levels.

This avoids an error when we try to import from a module built -fpic
into a module built -fPIC, for example. For both PIE and PIC levels,
this will be legal, since the code generation gets more conservative
as the level is increased. Therefore we can take the max instead of
somehow trying to block importing between modules compiled with
different levels.

6707770d48 Rename AttributeSet to AttributeList
Summary:
This class is a list of AttributeSetNodes corresponding the function
prototype of a call or function declaration. This class used to be
called ParamAttrListPtr, then AttrListPtr, then AttributeSet. It is
typically accessed by parameter and return value index, so
"AttributeList" seems like a more intuitive name.

Rename AttributeSetImpl to AttributeListImpl to follow suit.

It's useful to rename this class so that we can rename AttributeSetNode
to AttributeSet later. AttributeSet is the set of attributes that apply
to a single function, argument, or return value.

1e976309c1 [ADT] Add a generic concatenating iterator and range (take 2).
This recommits r290512 that was reverted when MSVC failed to compile it. Since
then I've played with various approaches using rextester.com (where I was able
to reproduce the failure) and think that I have a solution thanks in part to
the help of Dave Blaikie! It seems MSVC just has a defective `decltype` in this
version. Manually writing out the type seems to do the trick, even though it is
.... quite complicated.

in the unittest. The same facilities are used for both. They end up
quite small and simple as it happens.

5498e18776 IR, Bitcode: Change bitcode reader to no longer own its memory buffer.
Unique ownership is just one possible ownership pattern for the memory buffer
underlying the bitcode reader. In practice, as this patch shows, ownership can
often reside at a higher level. With the upcoming change to allow multiple
modules in a single bitcode file, it will no longer be appropriate for
modules to generally have unique ownership of their memory buffer.

The C API exposes the ownership relation via the LLVMGetBitcodeModuleInContext
and LLVMGetBitcodeModuleInContext2 functions, so we still need some way for
the module to own the memory buffer. This patch does so by adding an owned
memory buffer field to Module, and using it in a few other places where it
is convenient.

9c80b35060 ADT: Split ilist_node_traits into alloc and callback, NFC
Many lists want to override only allocation semantics, or callbacks for
iplist.  Split these up to prevent code duplication.
- Specialize ilist_alloc_traits to change the implementations of
  deleteNode() and createNode().
- One common desire is to do nothing deleteNode() and disable
  createNode().  Specialize ilist_alloc_traits to inherit from
  ilist_noalloc_traits for that behaviour.
- Specialize ilist_callback_traits to use the addNodeToList(),
  removeNodeFromList(), and transferNodesFromList() callbacks.

As a drive-by, add some coverage to the callback-related unit tests.

3e97be26b9 ADT: Share code for embedded sentinel traits, NFC
Share code for the (mostly problematic) embedded sentinel traits.
- Move the LLVM_NO_SANITIZE("object-size") attribute to
  ilist_half_embedded_sentinel_traits and ilist_embedded_sentinel_traits
  (previously it spread throughout the code duplication).
- Add an ilist_full_embedded_sentinel_traits which has no UB (but has
  the downside of storing the complete node).
- Replace all the custom sentinel traits in LLVM with a declaration of
  ilist_sentinel_traits that inherits from one of the embedded sentinel
  traits classes.

There are still custom sentinel traits in other LLVM subprojects.  I'll
remove those in a follow-up.

Nothing at all should be changing here, this is just rearranging code.
Note that the final goal here is to remove the sentinel traits
altogether, settling on the memory layout of
ilist_half_embedded_sentinel_traits without the UB.  This intermediate
step moves the logic into ilist.h.

89c5c63c3c [ThinLTO] Prevent importing of "llvm.used" values
Summary:
This patch prevents importing from (and therefore exporting from) any
module with a "llvm.used" local value. Local values need to be promoted
and renamed when importing, and their presense on the llvm.used variable
indicates that there are opaque uses that won't see the rename. One such
example is a use in inline assembly.

As part of this, move collectUsedGlobalVariables out of Transforms/Utils
and into IR/Module so that it can be used more widely. There are several
other places in LLVM that used copies of this code that can be cleaned

48bb8b44d7 Support the Nodebug emission kind for DICompileUnits.
Sample-based profiling and optimization remarks currently remove
DICompileUnits from llvm.dbg.cu to suppress the emission of debug info
from them. This is somewhat of a hack and only borderline legal IR.

This patch uses the recently introduced NoDebug emission kind in
DICompileUnit to achieve the same result without breaking the Verifier.
A nice side-effect of this change is that it is now possible to combine
NoDebug and regular compile units under LTO.

0060160bcf Restore "[ThinLTO] Use MD5 hash in function index." with fix
This restores commit r260408, along with a fix for a bot failure.

The bot failure was caused by dereferencing a unique_ptr in the same
call instruction parameter list where it was passed via std::move.
Apparently due to luck this was not exposed when I built the compiler
with clang, only with gcc.

f38049c501 [ThinLTO] Use MD5 hash in function index.
Summary:
This patch uses the lower 64-bits of the MD5 hash of a function name as
a GUID in the function index, instead of storing function names. Any
local functions are first given a global name by prepending the original
source file name. This is the same naming scheme and GUID used by PGO in
the indexed profile format.

This change has a couple of benefits. The primary benefit is size
reduction in the combined index file, for example 483.xalancbmk's
combined index file was reduced by around 70%. It should also result in
memory savings for the index file in memory, as the in-memory map is
also indexed by the hash instead of the string.

Second, this enables integration with indirect call promotion, since the
indirect call profile targets are recorded using the same global naming
convention and hash. This will enable the function importer to easily
locate function summaries for indirect call profile targets to enable
their import and subsequent promotion.

The original source file name is recorded in the bitcode in a new
module-level record for use in the ThinLTO backend pipeline.

The problem the assert found was fixed in r257915.

The problem is that uses in unmaterialized functions are not accounted
for.

2a8bcfaff1 IR: Create SymbolTableList wrapper around iplist, NFC
Create `SymbolTableList`, a wrapper around `iplist` for lists that
automatically manage a symbol table.  This commit reduces a ton of code
duplication between the six traits classes that were used previously.

As a drive by, reduce the number of template parameters from 2 to 1 by
using a SymbolTableListParentType metafunction (I originally had this as
a separate commit, but it touched most of the same lines so I squashed
them).

I'm in the process of trying to remove the UB in `createSentinel()` (see
the FIXMEs I added for `ilist_embedded_sentinel_traits` and
`ilist_half_embedded_sentinel_traits`).  My eventual goal is to separate
the list logic into a base class layer that knows nothing about (and
isn't templated on) the downcasted nodes -- removing the need to invoke
UB -- but for now I'm just trying to get a handle on all the current use
cases (and cleaning things up as I see them).

Besides these six SymbolTable lists, there are two others that use the
addNode/removeNode/transferNodes() hooks: the `MachineInstruction` and
`MachineBasicBlock` lists.  Ideally there'll be a way to factor these
hooks out of the low-level API entirely, but I'm not quite there yet.

0adaaa390d AsmWriter: Print the argument names in declarations while debugging
When llvm declarations have argument names, it's helpful to actually
print those names when debugging. Arguably, it'd be nice to print them
all the time, but that would mean the IR we output wouldn't round trip
through bitcode, which doesn't store the names.

Make the varous print() methods in AsmWriter optionally print "for
debug" and set that flag in the dump() methods. The only thing this
does differently for now is print the argument names in declarations.

5b674c0b49 [IR] Add operand bundles to CallInst and InvokeInst.
Summary:
This change teaches `CallInst`s and `InvokeInst`s to maintain a set of
operand bundles as part of its operands.  `CallInst`s and `InvokeInst`s
with operand bundles co-allocate some space before their `Use` array to
hold meta information about which of its operands are part of an operand
bundle.

The strings corresponding to the bundle tags are interned into
`LLVMContextImpl::BundleTagCache`

This change does not include any parsing / bitcode support.  That's the
next change.

Depends on D12455.
