Tanya Lattner 7f3bc26428 Merge from mainline. 
Fix PR2697 by rewriting the '(X / pos) op neg' logic.  This also changes a couple other cases for clarity, but shouldn't affect correctness.

dated tests are actual bug tests, whereas the named tests are used to test
for features that the this pass should be capable of performing.
