Summary: This follows D14577 to treat ARMv6-J as an alias for ARMv6, instead of an architecture in its own right. The functional change is that the default CPU when targeting ARMv6-J changes from arm1136j-s to arm1136jf-s, which is currently used as the default CPU for ARMv6; both are, in fact, ARMv6-J CPUs. The J-bit (Jazelle support) is irrelevant to LLVM, and it doesn't affect code generation, attributes, optimizations, or anything else, apart from selecting the default CPU. Low Level Virtual Machine (LLVM) ================================ This directory and its subdirectories contain source code for LLVM, a toolkit for the construction of highly optimized compilers, optimizers, and runtime environments. LLVM is open source software. You may freely distribute it under the terms of the license agreement found in LICENSE.txt. Please see the documentation provided in docs/ for further assistance with LLVM, and in particular docs/GettingStarted.rst for getting started with LLVM and docs/README.txt for an overview of LLVM's documentation setup. If you are writing a package for LLVM, see docs/Packaging.rst for our suggestions.
