Commercial Use And Licensing
Meldwork is source-available under the Meldwork Non-Commercial Source License. The public repository can be inspected, evaluated, run, and modified for non-commercial purposes, but it is not licensed for commercial use.
Any commercial use requires prior written permission from the copyright holder. This includes monetizing Meldwork, reselling or hosting it, embedding it in a proprietary product, using it to provide paid services, or using it as part of a for-profit organization's business operations.
The copyright holder may offer a separate commercial license for organizations that need permission for:
- proprietary redistribution or resale of Meldwork or a modified version;
- embedding Meldwork code in a closed-source product;
- offering a hosted, managed, or network-accessible version;
- internal business operations at a for-profit organization;
- separately licensed commercial features, enterprise integrations, support, or managed deployment.
A commercial license does not change the licenses of third-party dependencies, Agent products, names, models, or logos. The repository license also does not grant trademark rights to the Meldwork name, logo, screenshots, or other brand assets.
