Displaying the totals RX/TX is IMO, less useful than reporting the
network speed, if necessary the user can still see the totals in the
SystemMonitor.

In the implementation, we don't reuse variables between the different
types anymore. This wastes 128 bytes per applets, but seems better than
having generic variables names.
