As per docs we would expect this to be supported and working (see here):

File paths can be:
Relative to the config file directory
Or absolute paths starting with / or ~

Deleting a branch is permanent. Although the deleted branch may continue to exist for a short time before it actually gets removed, it CANNOT be undone in most cases. Continue?
