When using openrouter, it will do the first one or two tool calls fine, but then suddenly stop. This doesnt happen when using the anthropic login or models

I had a similar problem. For my case, it seemed that certain model providers (like eg novita) do not return the right tool-call signature.
I'd recommend that once you observe a tool-call not going through, go to activity page of openrouter and deactivate the provider that last returned a response.
I did that with 3-4 providers and then everything worked like a charm.

Thank you for this. I was wondering what was going on, originally figured it was an OpenCode bug, but recently noticed some models just didn't encounter this issue.

This has entirely fixed it for me. FYI, Novita & Baseten are guilty of this.

How do you guys deactivate it? I entered the activity page of openrouter but I can't see anywhere that I can click to deactivate one
