  • OS: WSL - Ubuntu 24.04
  • Shell: ZSH
  • OpenCode Version: v0.5.6/v0.5.7

Context

Working on two separate projects, in two different instances of OpenCode on the same WSL instance.

Circunstance

System crashed, needed to go in and restart the last prompt that was running at time of system crash.

Behavior

Only one instance of OpenCode prompt history was available. Appears to be the second opened instance.

Expected Behavior

Project-based, or some level of namespaced history by folder OpenCode is executed in, to keep prompt histories separate when someone is working on multiple projects.

This issue might be a duplicate of existing issues. Please check:

  • #1924: Git Branch-Aware Sessions - discusses the same core problem of managing multiple projects simultaneously and proposes session management based on git branches, which would address the prompt history separation you're describing

Feel free to ignore if none of these address your specific case.
