Opt+B works fine when there's content in the message window (backward-word), however if the message input is empty, it locks the input and won't allow any further typing.

This issue might be a duplicate of existing issues. Please check:

  • #400: Alt+b and alt+f don't count symbols as word boundaries - Similar Alt+B (backward-word) binding issue with different behavior than expected
  • #1975: ctrl + arrow key no longer moves word-to-word - Word navigation keys stopped working properly
  • #2176: Missing readline Ctrl+N and Ctrl+P - Same author reporting other readline binding issues

Feel free to ignore if none of these address your specific case of input locking when Opt+B is used on empty input.
