Zed recently announced ACP which is a way to use third party agents (claude, gemini) within zed. Currently there is support for gemini and claude. It would be awesome if opencode supported ACP which would allow clients to use opencode as an agent within the application.

This issue might be a duplicate of existing issues. Please check:

  • #2276: Similar request for ACP (Agent Client Protocol) support to integrate OpenCode with Zed IDE
  • #892: Requests integration with Zed's agentic-coding-protocol package
  • #2286: General request for Zed IDE support

Feel free to ignore if none of these address your specific case.
