I am testing opencode with lmstudio and claude.

When the LLM call fails, there is no error, no report; it just hangs on generating.

However, it works again after LLM provider is fixed and a new prompt is presented.

I would add claudecode like "Retrying 1 or 10" and (4 seconds to retry) and counter; or button. And more error logging on LLM inference failure.

This issue might be a duplicate of existing issues. Please check:

  • #2438: Reports similar freezing on "Working..." forever with no error feedback, also requests token counters and better visibility into LLM status

Feel free to ignore if none of these address your specific case.
