I would like to be able to minimize or reduce the shell output displayed. For example, when code compiles the complete output is presented, which is often not interesting. This makes it hard to scroll back and forth reading the output from the LLM.

This issue might be a duplicate of existing issues. Please check:

  • #2375: Both issues address concerns about excessive tool/command output affecting usability - that issue focuses on limiting output to prevent context issues while this focuses on UI/readability concerns

Feel free to ignore if none of these address your specific case.

Isn't this already implemented in 0.14.1 via /details?
