Hi there,

I'm using amazon bedrock via my employer. I cannot figure out for the life of me how I can track my token usage / cost in Opencode. Unfortunately I don't have the access in the AWS console to try to track it on that end.

With claude code, it's really easy to track usage / cost. Unfortunately without some way to gauge my usage to keep costs reasonable, I think I'll have to stick with claude code even though I prefer the experience of using OpenCode.

This issue might be a duplicate of existing issues. Please check:

  • #1634: [Feature Request] Track Overall Token Usage (Usage Stats) - This existing issue requests the same functionality for tracking token usage and spend across sessions, which is exactly what you're looking for with Amazon Bedrock usage tracking.

Feel free to ignore if none of these address your specific case.

This thread implies that there is some kind of cost tracking for other providers that is not available in bedrock. What changes would be required to be able to do this for bedrock as well?

@trcoffman are you talking about overall usage like all time or just for a thread? because there should be usage data in the top right corner:
